On February 17, a seminar on the topic "Use of nanoparticles in photodynamic therapy / photodynamic inactivation of microorganisms" was held in the RC OLMIV. The seminar was attended by the staff of the Department of Laser Chemistry and Materials Science of the Institute of Chemistry of St. Petersburg State University and staff of the RC. Elena Lastovskaya, an engineer from the IFMO University, delivered a report.

04.02.2016 A visit of the delegation of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television took place in the RC "Optical and laser materials research" under the guidance of the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Babkin Oleg Eduardovich. 

On January 22, 2016, an introductory excursion for the students of the 10-11 grades of the Saint-Petersburg State School №385 of the Krasnoselsky District of St. Petersburg took place in RC “Optical and laser materials research”.
