The luminescent bimetallic aggregates reversibly undergo dissociation or isomerization in solution and exhibit photoemission in the solid state (414 to 566 nm).
A visit of Igor Avloshenko, Chief Metrologist, Head of Measuring Instruments Office, Russia’s Federal Service on Hydrometeorology and Environment Monitoring (ROSGIDROMET), Federal State Budgetary Institution “North-West Department on Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring”, took place at the "Observatory of Environmental Safety" Resource Center.
The meeting was attended by representatives from "Laser Systems" Research and Production Enterprise, Limited Liability Company (St. Petersburg): Aleksandr Mikhailenko (Executive Director) and Aleksei Chugreev (Leading Researcher).
The meeting participants considered the possibility for “OES RC” to join the state observation network of the environmental monitoring system.
Andrey Gurinov has completed the training in the University of Guadalajara, Mexico, and received a certificate.
Members of the International Committee on Science Policy of the National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute” have visited our Center. The guests got acquainted with the equipment and learned the Center’s work. Dean of the Faculty of Physics, director of the Kurchatov Center Mikhail Kovalchuk invited committee members – representatives of CERN (Switzerland), Max-Born-Institute (Germany), DESY (Germany), Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), Neutron Center of Budapest (Hungary), Joint Institute for Nuclear research (Dubna) and other research centers – to come to St. Petersburg State University so they can see how science develops at the St. Petersburg University.
