Thermogravimetric analysis of solid and liquid samples in various gas environments with the ability to detect gaseous substances emitted (mostly organic)

The purge gas passing through the TGA, brings all the separated volatile products through a short heated channel in a sealed gas cell of the FTIR spectrometer. All the gases are identified by their Infrared absorption spectrum, and complex gas mixtures can be separated spectroscopically.
