TAM III is the new generation, multi-channel, microcalorimetric system from TA Instruments. TAM offers maximum sensitivity, flexibility, and performance. It can be used with the most sensitive microcalorimeters and a wide variety of accessories to precisely control the experimental conditions. Up to four independent calorimeters can be used simultaneously with TAM III, to perform repetitive or different types of experiments. TAM III is totally modular and enables multiple calorimeters to be added to increase sample capacity or functionality. With the addition of a multicalorimeter holding six independent minicalorimeters, the sample throughput is substantially increased. TAM III employs patented thermostat technology to precisely control the liquid bath temperature to within 0.0001°C, and can be operated in isothermal, step-isothermal or temperature-scanning mode.

Measurement options: tension, penetration, compression, expansion, three-point bending. Ability to perform measurements in dynamic mode.

 TMA 402 Hyperion

The feature of the TMA 402 Hyperion is a highly precise inductive displacement transducer. The entire device measuring system is thermally stabilized via water-cooling. This ensures that the measurement will not be influenced by heat from the furnace or by temperature fluctuations in the local environment. All joints have a vacuum-tight design to allow measurements in a highly pure atmosphere or under vacuum. Pressures of less than 10-4 mbar can be achieved in the TMA device with the use of a turbo molecular pump.

Carl Zeiss Axio Scope A1 is a flexible, high-performance modular microscope platform specially designed both for routine and advanced research tasks in materials microscopy. The Axio Scope A1 offers exceptionally large scalability of the sample area height, which can be continuously set for sample sizes up to 380 mm high for numerous applications, depending on the configuration. 2-position sliders and 6-position reflector turrets are available as reflector modules, depending on the application.

Study of the catalyst surface. Pulse chemisorption, temperature-programmed desorption, oxidation, reduction. Determination of the specific surface area by BET and Langmuir. Determination of the total pore volume.

AutoChem 2920

Micromeritics AutoChem 2920 Chemisorption Analyzer is a fully automated instrument capable of conducting a comprehensive array of highly precise chemical adsorption and temperatureprogrammed reaction studies. The instrument enables the researcher to obtain valuable information about the physical properties of catalysts, catalyst support, and a variety of other materials. Researchers can investigate active metal surface area, surface acidity, distribution and strength of active sites, BET surface area, and more. The AutoChem performs pulse chemisorption, temperature-programmed reduction (TPR), desorption (TPD), oxidation (TPO), and reaction analyses. Multiple experiments can be run using the same sample.
